Our Family
Here we are.....Mary and Tom. Mary is a retired
primary teacher. Tom is a retired CPA. We have
lived full-time in our motor home since November 2000
and enjoy seeing new places and meeting new people.
We have spent time in 44 of the United States, nine
Canadian Provinces and in Mexico while "on the road."
In our spare time we enjoy playing golf and tennis,
reading and doing stuff on our computers. We
especially enjoy spending time with our granddaughters.
Our son Reid has had several careers since he
graduated from Ohio State...a newspaper
reporter/editor/photographer in Colorado, a white-water
raft guide/instructor/emergency first-responder in
Colorado, Arizona, Costa Rica and in West Virginia
where he is now working for WELD, a digital marketing
firm. In his free moments he enjoys doing anything in
the outdoors.
Our daughter, Ann, and her husband,
Matt have lived in central Ohio, northern Illinois,
Central Pennsylvania and have recently relocated
to Abilene, Texas where Matt works for PWP,
part of the Reynolds/Pactiv Packaging company.
Ann is the "patient care co-ordinator" for Visiting
Angels, a home care agency. They both are
extremely busy keeping up with their three
daughters.
Granddaughter #1, Coffey, is a
freshman at Wylie High School. She is a
music lover, playing in the band, and is
active in the drama program. She also
takes dance lessons and plays softball.
Close is in the 8th grade at Wylie
Jr. Hi. She is an aspiring writer
and enjoys participating in school
group projects.
A 5th grader for the 2011/2012 school
year, Merrick is an animal lover who
enjoys horseback riding, especially. With
her two sisters, she is active in Girl
Scouts as well.
Tom's sister, Judy, and her husband Ron live near Bowling Green, OH.
|
Mary's brother, Bill, and his wife Beth live in Toledo, OH.
|
After living in Florida for many years, Tom's mother, Louise, now lives in Holland, OH.
|
Mary's mom, Edith, lives in Jackson, MI.
|
Matt, Ann, and their girls enjoy family outings of all kinds, and sometimes we get to tag along.
